It's a beautiful day here in California. The bird feeders are all full so we have a lot of birds singing in the backyard. We have spotted a new bird which I am pretty sure is an albino goldfinch. It has a very distinct chirp so you can always tell when it is in the yard. I have been taking a lot of pictures of it. Here are a few of them.

  3. I've never heard of an albino goldfinch--love your pictures! My feeder has been extremely busy, too. I've been wondering if we're going to have a hard winter & they're "bulking up"--LOL!

  4. I know that you wrote this blog post back in 2009--- but I can't seem to find a recent blog or post to leave my comment!

What a beautiful bird! I've never seen an albino goldfinch-- kind of wish we had birds that came to visit regularly here:) We set out birdseed but the squirrels tend to eat it before the birds do! LOL!
